There’s also more emphasis on AoE in Crucible builds, while in SR single target is more valued. Then I restarted and got to 75 tanking everything like it was a different build. Then I leveled the same build legit and couldn’t pass 71 because of mutators (it was Korvaak kept one shotting me).

Sometimes it happens that you just can’t pass because suddenly Brutal mutator shows up with the ridiculous +60% crit. Enemies scale and with them scale the effects of mutators. And most importantly, in Crucible you die and it’s over.īut SR also has downfalls. There’s also little to no window to breathe in Crucible, while in SR you can stop and wait for your cooldowns after dealing with one mob. So dmg you sink is higher (despite the blessings) because there’s more of them but also because they stack more debuffs on you, further increasing the strength of each one of them. In Crucible, there’s (mostly) no way around dealing with multiple mobs. I think most people say that Demolitionist, Arcanist, and particularly Combos with Nightblade seem to be the most powerful late game (that clear fastest). In SR, you deal mostly with single mobs and bosses (or you die, SR is unbalanced like that). Here's a skills calculator to see all the class/mastery combos and to see the skills: It's a gear/loot based game, and too much of my time is spent on trying to figure out which items are NOT something I'll wish I had held onto down the line, and trying to balance that with organizing stash/inventory space. That's my main beef with this game for now. I hope a similar utility comes out soon for Grim Dawn. It effectively gave you unlimited storage. There was a great utility program for Titan Quest, I forget the name, but it basically allowed you to empty your stash into some sort game files, and restore them with this program. There is nowhere near enough stash space in this game.

I just want to get into Ultimate with some character and start farming legendaries. I started him off as a summoner/pet build, but that was really boring (though powerful early on). He's a melee, 2H Primal Strike build now. I also have a lvl 63 Conjurer (Shaman/Occultist). I've died like *gulp* 45 times or so, last I checked.

He uses two guns and does great offensively. I have a lvl 65 Sorcerer (Demolitionist/Arcanist), that is in Elite.
